From Edinburgh we took the train down to London for a few days. What can I say, it was fantastic and I wish we had spent more time there. We had three nights in the city in a ritzy hotel that we had booked through a special before we left the US. Having a few nights in a really comfy room was great, but it always feels awkward showing up to a posh place with our backpacks and casual clothes! After the hotel we spent 2 nights couch surfing with Kelly and Emilio, who were fantastic hosts and I wish we had more time to hang out with them. They are both expats (she is from New Zealand and he is from Spain) and it was great to chat with them about life in London, work, and travelling! Hopefully we'll get a chance to me up with them again soon. Oh, I made Tony go with me to see Les Mis (and he liked it). :)
Alrighty...here are the pics!

| One of my favorite place in London is the Victoria and Albert museum which has probably the best decorative arts (clothes, household objects, furniture, etc.) collection in the world. It was great to visit with the DSLR. Even in the dim museum light it takes great pics! This bouquet is made entirely of shells. |

| Needlework portrait of Napoleon. Super cool. |

| So, there were a few expensive cars in our neighborhood. I've never seen a BMW, Ferrari, and Range Rover jockey for the same parallel space before. This was definitely the coolest by far... |
 |
| So we did it... Tower of London tour! |
 |
| Pretty cool. It was definitely worth visiting & the crown jewels are amazing. |
